conditions in a clean, cost-effective, and expeditious manner using our

Brown Remediation uses a unique
two-phase extraction system capable of
performing extended free product removal and/or pilot testing to determine
future remedial needs at contaminated sites. We stand apart from other firms by

Tom Brown, director of operations for Brown Remediation, is a geologist with
more than 25 years of experience in the soil and groundwater remediation industry. Tom’s message to clients is that his door is always open. All clients get his personal attention. Tom clearly loves what he does and he’s built his business on a
reputation for personal and business
integrity, the use of the latest
technology and equipment, and the
highest contaminant-destruction
efficiency in the industry.
Before starting Brown
Remediation, Tom served for four years as director of operations for Fruits &
Associates, a remediation firm he helped conceive. Prior to joining Fruits &
Associates, Tom was an environmental consultant for firms such as Groundwater
Technology and Terra Vac before joining ARCADIS U.S., Inc., where he served as the environmental
department manager.
As a consultant, Tom provided underground storage tank and other environmental
services for major oil companies, including Fina Oil and Chemical Company. Tom
served as Fina’s southeast environmental consultant while at three different
companies, earning him Fina’s Environmental Consultant of the Year Award on numerous occasions.
Prior to entering the consulting industry, Tom worked for Marathon Resources, a
subsidiary of Marathon Oil, for which he was involved in mineral exploration in
the Death Valley region of
California
and
Nevada. He
also worked as a research geochemist at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography
in
La Jolla,
California, where he spent a considerable
amount of time doing research at sea.
Tom earned his master’s degree in
geology from
San Diego
State
University
in 1988 and his bachelor’s in
geology from Miami of Ohio in 1979.
